We went to a Japanese restaurant. While we were waiting to be seated, we decided to sit at the sushi bar. We tried sushi for the first time. Surprisingly, it was very tasty.

Landon loves salsa!

All was well and good until later........... he started speaking spanish and began turning blue. A new blue version of the hulk perhaps??????????? "Don't give me salsa...........You won't like when I eat salsa." LOL

Lobster Discovery

Red Lobster is really cool about letting kids see the live lobsters. Landon had not seen a lobster before so he really got into it. Raegan wasn't quite sure, but she was glad their hands were tied.

Barber Time

Landon loves to get his hair cut. He actually sits still for the barber! Believe it or not~ When it was over, he gave me his best HULK face. Not sure what Hulk has to do with a haircut, but it made sense to him!

Anna Belle

This is Anna Belle, our Great Dane. She is more like a small horse than a dog. I bet you would be surprised that she only eats about four cups of dog food a day. Doesn't take much fuel for her to lay around the house. She is the sweetest dog in the world. She likes to lean on us or come up behind the couch and put her head on our shoulders to get attention. She was originally my cousin's dog, but he had to move and could not take her with him. We are so happy he gave her to us. We could not imagine a better dog for our kids. The funny thing is that she is scared of Landon. She is three times as big, but runs from him in a flash. I will post some current pictures of her with the kids later. Probably with Raegan with Anabelle and Landon way in the background! LOL

Raegan..........

This is Raegan with her bubba and cousin. She is so good to the little ones. She started third grade this year and has her mommy for one of her teachers! I must say she is a really good student and I am so excited to get to teach her. She is a great reader and a whiz in Math. We are still not sure where the math came from, but we are grateful she did not take after us! Now that she is older, she is a great help around the house. She enjoys playing golf and hanging out with her friends. This summer she was enrolled in a children's theater class. She is a natural little actor. She has always said she wants to be a doctor. After the acting class, she told us she might just play one on TV! Did I mentioned she has a great sense of humor???? We are very proud of her!

Landon-Our Litttle Rocker

Landon loves to bang on sissy's piano. He shouts out, "Sing a song mommy!" If I try to sing he tells me, "No, like this.....la.....la....la....la!" I guess I do not sing good enough. He is really funny when Daddy plays heavy metal music. He "bangs his head just like a rock star! He loves to drum too. He is starting to pee pee in the potty! We are very happy about that! Lately, he has started to draw. He likes to draw people and cars. He already adds details like eyebrows, ears, and car headlights. He is really smart. So much so that his dad and I are freaked out just a little bit. He has been able to recognize all uppercase letters and say their sounds since he was 2. Now at 21/2 he continues to blow our minds. Considering the rough start he had when he was born, we are so thankful and blessed.
